After starting her professional career in 1999 as a Radio City Rockette, she continued her studies in Los Angeles and New York for over a decade. Andrea has assisted choreographers Doug Caldwell, Malaya, Jen Ballard, Jeff Amsden, Michele Assaf, Cherrise Wakeham, and Eric Stretch to name a few. She danced with the Rockettes for 7 seasons, and also toured the U.S. with “CATS” for 13 months performing the role of Cassandra, and understudying Demeter and Bombalurina. Andrea has performed at regional theaters on both coasts including, Paper Mill Playhouse, Civic Light Opera of South Bay, The Court Theater, The Fox Theater and the famous Pantages Theater in L.A. Andrea has appeared on Good Morning America, MTV Breakthrough, Your Total Health, Georgia Public Broadcasting, The Thanksgiving Day Parade, “Guiding Light”, Tyler Perry’s “Meet The Browns” and the Opening & Closing Ceremonies of the 1996 Olympic Games. She can be seen in the film “Stomp The Yard 2” and most recently completed commercials for Avis, Nike and The Cartoon Network. Andrea has now shifted her focus to teaching master classes and choreographing for students across the country and is passionate about giving back after such an amazing career. She continues to train, take class and work in the industry to stay relevant as a teacher and choreographer. Andrea believes she would never have reached this level of success without her mentors, growing up and throughout her career. As a result, her primary focus is to mentor young, aspiring dancers with as much encouragement and enthusiasm as possible, leading them into the careers they hope to have of their own.
