Natalie West is a Roswell native who's life has always revolved around dance, Pilates, teaching and bestowing these loves upon others. She received her initial dance training from Dancer's Studio Backstage under the direction of Jonnie Kelley beginning at age 3. She joined the studio's company, Atlanta Dance Theater, in 2001 and achieved Pre-professional status by 2006. As a member of Atlanta Dance Theater, Natalie studied all forms of dance, including Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Musical Theater, and Hip-hop -- it was also here where she was first introduced to Pilates at the early age of 10.
Natalie continued her dance training at The University of Alabama and Kennesaw State University. She also earned her first certification for Power Pilates at Studio Lotus in Atlanta and began teaching beginner, intermediate, and advanced Mat classes. Now that she has received her Pilates Apparatus certification from Body-N-Balance Physical Therapy Studio, Natalie works full-time in the exercise industry as a private instructor at Lifetime Athletic Club, Raging Bull Athletics, and numerous other studios and private homes around the greater Atlanta area. Natalie has been taking class at Gotta Dance Atlanta for years and is excited to bring her expertise to the GDA Fit Program.
