Vershion Funderburk
Vershion is an Atlanta native trained in ballet, jazz, tap, modern, lyrical, hip hop and clogging since the tender age of 3. After performing in high school, then undergrad, Vershion attended Indiana University-Bloomington for a Masters degree and taught Hip Hop I & II to undergraduate students. While at IU, she was also a grad assistant for technical movement & ballroom dance classes, and performed with the contemporary company.
She currently teaches in the Community Programs Division for Atlanta Ballet and has been traveling, training & choreographing for many local and national universities & high school dance teams. Vershion strongly believes musicality and quality of movement are the best attributes of amazing dancers. ALL dancers and those aspiring should STRETCH properly and more often to extend their range of motion & elongate their limbs. Here’s her personal invitation to Dancer’s Stretch!
